Σας παραθέτω κάτι που διάβασα στο φόρουμ του Lonely Planet και έχει το ενδιαφέρον του σχετικά με την τιμολόγηση εισητηρίων της Aegean Airlines:
In about 10 days we are taking a flight from Santorini to Athens on Aegean. I purchased 2 tickets a month ago for E70 each plus tax from Agean's website. Now, on their website the ticket is priced at E27 plus tax. So a month ago I paid more then double. I find it surprising that in this case it is more expensive to book in advance when it should be the other way around. I sent Aegean an email telling them that they should give me tickets at todays price and refund the difference but they are not responding inspite of several reminders. The expensive ticket is economy K class and the cheaper price I see now is in economy T class. Any suggestions how I can change to the cheaper ticket. It seems Aegean does not respond to emails.

About two months ago I bought return Thessaloniki-Frankfurt tickets. A few days later I checked their website out of curiosity and saw that the same tickets, for the same dates/flights were cheaper, I was surprised because they advertise that the earlier you buy your tickets the less you pay, so I called them. The answer I got was a rational one, still, an annoying (for me) one. What happens is that every flight has a certain number of tickets for every price category. If the category of the cheapest-cheapest tickets is sold out, then you are shown the ticket prices for the closest category. But, BUT, the lowest category may show to be sold out, while it isn't. When someone calls and books, BOOKS, not BUYS, a ticket from the cheapest category, then the ticket stays reserved for a number of days. If the person who made the booking decides not to make use of it, then the ticket is made available again, THIS is why one day you may find a ticket for... say... 70 euros, and a few days later you can find it for less, because this ticket was never sold in the first place, only BOOKED. I find it a reasonable explanation, but still, annoying, because, as I told them on the phone, this way they are 'rewarding' someone who may not be serious about buying the ticket, and punishing the one who logs in DETERMINED to buy the ticket right then and there. As for not being able to get a refund for the 'expensive' ticket and proceed with buying a new one for less money, the problem is that some categories have non refunable tickets, something which is clearly mentioned while you are about to make the final click and buy the tickets online. I find it unfair, but this is how it is... Nothing you can do about it now, unfortunately...
