Athens International Airport S.A.(...) is inviting
companies or consortia/ joint ventures to tender for the Works in title at
Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".
The overall scope includes all required works for the full, complete, faultless
and ready-to-use implementation of the STB Enhancement Project - Phase
III.
Phase III of the project is mainly characterized by the eastern expansion
of the building by 1400m², split into two (2) levels (arrivals & departures),
with certain operational re-arrangements throughout the terminal that may
be briefly summarized as follows:
Following the successful implementation of phases 1 & 2 of the Satellite
Terminal Building (STB) Enhancement project, AIA is further developing
the operational, commercial and aesthetic ambience of the STB. In view of
phase 3 of the project, AIA is launching the present scope, which is mainly
characterized by the following:
1. The construction of two (2) additional STB Intra-Schengen Walkout Gates, to be designed at the western side of level 1;
2. The construction of two (2) STB Extra-Schengen Walk-out Gates,
to be designed at the eastern side of level 1, outside the building
envelope;
3. The widening of the passport control queueing area at both
departures’ & arrivals level, to accommodate additional passport
booths, for serving the increased traffic demand.

dispatched to the interested applicants.
Estimated award: February 2020
Construction Completion: June 2020
Term completion (including Liability Period): June 2022
The estimated total contract value amounts to € 7,7 million
