Ειδικό φορτηγό αεροσκαφος το οποίο θα εκτελει το δρομολογιο STN-OPO-ATH-HKG δρομολόγησε το τμήμα cargo της ΒΑ.Το αεροσκάφος θα φτάνει στην αθήνα καθε τετάρτη στις 21.00 και θα αναχωρεί για το ΗΚG στις 11 καλύπτοντας την αποσταση σε 9 ώρες.

New routing via Oporto and Athens introduced to BA World Cargo's freighter schedule (08/09/2005)

From Wednesday 7 September 2005, British Airways World Cargo is routing one of its freighter services to Hong Kong via Oporto, Portugal and Athens, Greece.

The weekly service will route Stansted - Oporto - Athens - Hong Kong - Stansted and has been introduced in direct response to customer demand.

Keith Packer, senior vice president commercial, said: "The new routing to Oporto and Athens underlines BA World Cargo's commitment to the European market. As well as serving our European customers, we can offer two additional European destinations on our global network to customers in the United States.

"The new service has the added benefit of addressing the imbalance between east and west traffic flows. This allows us to continue to grow capacity from Hong Kong where demand for our service is strong and where we recently added an eighth weekly service."
