JetBlue Airways said its subsidiary LiveTV has agreed to provide in-flight television on Italian carrier Air One's fleet of new Airbus A320 aircraft.
The in-flight entertainment products and services provider said it will provide in-seat audio/video systems on 30 planes, with the option to install the system on future aircraft deliveries.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Rome-based LiveTV will provide the system equipment as well as support and content management services.
The company said it will be the first time LiveTV's multi-channel audio/video system will be available in Europe. The system offers satellite television, shown in individual seatback screens.
The installation of the equipment on Air One's first aircraft is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2006.
