Belle Air (XH/Tirana) is a new low-cost carrier founded by several
former Albatros Airways (4H/Tirana) investors. Belle Air will launch
operations on December 15 using an MD-82 wet-leased from Air
Adriatic (AHR/Rijeka) offering three weekly services from Tirana to
Istanbul Ataturk, Milan Orio al Serio and Verona as well as two
weekly flights to Ancona, Athens, Bologna Forli, Genoa, Pisa, Rome
Ciampino, Trieste. It is planning to add a second MD-82 and an ATR
42 at a later stage to launch additional routes from Tirana to more
Italian destinations, Liege, London Stansted and Pristina.
