First of all let us take this opportunity to wish you a happy, challenging, prosperous and above all healthy 2005.
For many people the year has started in precarious circumstances. Therefore the staff of Virgin Express has put their shoulders under a project to support the victims of the earthquake and tsunami disaster in South-East Asia. Today we will have several of our aircraft stickered with the joint account number of the charity organisations to draw the attention of the public to the relief actions and thus encouraging people throughout Europe to donate something for the victims.
Apart from creating awareness, Virgin Express will also operate a number of 30-minute flights over Belgium coming Saturday, 8th January. Tickets are for sale at €49. The profit of these flights will be donated to 000-0000012-12. With the support of some of our suppliers (BIAC, BGS, Sabena Technics and Total) we hope to be able to generate about €3500 to €5000 per flight. The more tickets we sell, the more flights we operate, the more money we can donate to help easing the pain of this huge catastrophe.
The 1st flight is scheduled to leave from Brussels at 08.30 AM and is currently for sale through our call centre, which is reachable via one of the following numbers:
