Who is Greece Airways
Based in Athens, Greece, Greece Airways was established as a Greek commercial airline with full operating license.
Greece Airways holds a European AOC, which is issued to it by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Hellenic Republic (Greece), a member country of the European Union (EU). Greece Airways is therefore fully licensed to operate in all member countries of the EU including the UK.
The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority has approved Greece Airways financially and submitted the approval to the European Commission. A bank guarantee has also been provided to the Hellenic CAA before granting the Operating License to Greece Airways.
Greece Airways will operate charter and schedule flights for and on behalf of other airlines and tour operators worldwide.
Greece Airways has contracted Thomas Cook Airlines UK Ltd and Monarch to provide full maintenance services for its aircraft.
Greece Airways complies with all EU regulations and meets all requirements of flight operations, safety and financial requirements.
