The Cyprus Airways owned carrier, intends to add two Airbus A320 aircrafts to its fleet of three before April this year and introduce three new destinations. The airlines board has not yet decided with Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Madrid and Manchester being candidates for HellasJet new destinations. Previously reports about the airline to take over the two A319s of Cyprus Airways did not materialize.
In May the carrier is to launch codesharing with both Cyprus Airways and Aegean Airlines on their entire network of services.
Cyprus Airways is also in talks to join the SkyTeam alliance. The airline has already codeshares with Alitalia, KLM and Northwest.
