Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it would start a new summer flight to Corfu from Budapest.
The flights to the beautiful island of Corfu will be operated once a week between 17 June and 22 September 2006. This news follows the airline’s announcement to launch Rhodos and re-launch Barcelona/Girona and Palma de Mallorca from the Hungarian capital to the benefit of the holidaymakers next summer.
Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it would start introducing new and all-time favourite holiday destinations to its schedule for summer ’06 schedule period.
The first step was the reintroduction of the Budapest-Barcelona/Girona (3 weekly) and Budapest – Palma de Mallorca (2 weekly) routes, which were two of the most popular holiday destinations for the airline already last summer. These flights are already on sale and will start on 16 June and 22 June 2006 respectively. The start of the new Budapest –Rhodos flight (once a week) puts another great summer destination onto the map for the Hungarian holidaymakers. The weekly flights to the Greek island will start on 17 June 2006.
