Aircraft and service classes
Eurowings will use a sub-fleet totalling seven Airbus A330 aircraft (operated by
SunExpress Germany) – with 21 seats in Premium Economy Class and 289 in Economy
Class – for this expansion of leisure routes. For the time being, a Business Class will not
Advance seat reservation
A seat can be reserved in advance for free in Economy Class or on the SMART fare in the
reservation systems, via the Lufthansa Service Center and the Eurowings Call Center. For
technical reasons, an advance seat reservation cannot be made on lufthansa.com or
Services on board
All Economy Class fares include an item of checked baggage, advance seat reservation as
well as an extensive in-flight entertainment programme (earphones are provided on
payment of a fee). As on all Eurowings long-haul flights the Economy Class in-flight
services on the SMART fare include free meals as well as two drink services with soft
drinks, tea and coffee. Additional drinks – alcoholic as well – can be obtained on payment
of a fee.
The Premium Economy Class seat offers additional legroom and a generously adjustable
backrest. Legrests and footrests also ensure a pleasant sitting and reclining position.
In addition, travellers can connect with the Wings Connect portal and broadband Internet
via their own device – from just 7.90 euros.
