Our Fair Travel Promise, with flexibility always included

As we begin our summer operations, we are excited to once again connect hundreds of small and mid-sized cities across Europe, helping many of you reach your holidays, reunite with loved ones, and enjoy well-deserved breaks during this special time of year - across more than 400 routes.
At Volotea, we know that travel is built on trust. The trust you place in us every time you book, and the responsibility we have to deliver on that promise. We are truly grateful for this mutual commitment, reflected in recognitions such as Skytrax and the World Travel Awards - 6 times winners between both of Leading European Low-Cost Airline! We have come a long way together, and it is all thanks to you!
Today, we are facing a changing environment. Recent events in the Middle East have significantly impacted global fuel markets, affecting not only aviation but the broader economy.
Staying true to our commitment to transparency and fairness, we have adapted our product with one clear priority: to minimize the impact on you as a passenger.
Some airlines apply fixed fuel cost surcharges, which result in higher ticket prices and, in uncertain situation like the current, make impossible to fully reflect the real jet fuel costs incurred at the time of the flight. This will not be our approach.
At Volotea, we do things differently.
With our Fair Travel Promise, prices remain clear and directly linked to the real cost of fuel before your departure, always available from public sources:
If fuel prices increase, a surcharge may apply — always capped at a maximum of €14 per passenger per flight and never exceeded.
If fuel prices decrease, you will receive a refund accordingly up to €14.
Simple, transparent and fair. This policy is never retroactive and only applies to bookings made on or after March 16 and always informed in advance during the booking process.
In addition, we know that planning travel today can feel more uncertain. Plans change, circumstances evolve - and we believe your ticket should adapt with you, not the other way around.
From now on, under our Fair Travel Promise all tickets for all passengers include full flexibility (cancelling or moving your flight for any reason) at no extra cost — something truly unique in aviation. This allows you to change your plans as needed or cancel your flight, giving you the freedom to plan with confidence, even in an uncertain environment. Every booking will have total flexibility included.
